The Kelly Group boasts proactive safety initiatives and an excellent team of safety leaders. With projects moving faster than ever, best practices in safety must start on Day 1 with our employees — from our CEO to our newest hire. We are not alone in this idea; however, we will always lead our competition and this industry when it comes to employee training and support to put these words into action.

We provide annual training on topics such as rigging, signaling, belt splicing and more, and all new employees undergo two full days of orientation.
All of these things contribute to The Kelly Group’s excellent OSHA compliance record with ZERO CITATIONS.
Ownership’s commitment to safety is demonstrated by their creation of a sister company known as START (Safety, Technical and Reliability Training). The START facility provides much of the required annual training for all The Kelly Group employees as well as specific training such as aerial lift; Broderson; confined space; crane signaling; rigging; excavation and trenching; scaffolding; OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour; and many more.
Kelly received the Platinum Step in 2019 in the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) program. The Kelly Group has also been recognized for its safety accomplishments by GEAPS, NCCCO and the National Safety Council.
The Kelly Group Safety & Health Program and Safety Policy summarize management’s commitment and expectations in regard to safety, and further detail our belief that success in accident reduction lies in planning ahead.
